Career-Creativity: Three Approaches

The following are three ways of applying the combination of career and creativity:

• Applying your creativity within your career to create value for your clients, employers, and target market. Here the elements of your career are treated as artistic tools, as a painter would use paints and brushes.


• Applying your creativity to designing, creating, or finding your ideal career. Here your career itself becomes the art-form, similar to a painting or sculpture.


• Using artistic and creative techniques to reflect on and enhance your inspiration and engagement with your career. Here your career serves as the subject of your art, in the same way as a painter's model or landscape might serve as the subject for a painting.
